about

I like the feel of this song. It is blunt, real and kind of "Walking Dead" ish. If I produced the show I might want to use this song :)) Other than that it's a take off of the Biblical figure, Jezebel which has singular or collective comparisons to our modern day.

In her youth

she captivated captives

In her youth

they paid damned well

Though she only glanced

at flowers they gave her

That was then, this is now

she stares into hell.

Sultry was

the evening air.

When they came to ring her bell.

She never inhaled

their cheap perfumes

Till now she is old

a bottle broke when it fell

Distant, dispondent

she stares at her mirror

Wanting for something to sell

delirious to death

where lies her flesh?

Belching dogs alone

are left to tell.
